New to armored combat? Start with the sport, then speak with a club before buying equipment.
1. Understand the sport
Armored combat is a modern full-contact sport using protective steel armor and blunted weapons. Team combat, duels, and other formats use different rules.
2. Find a club
Search the club map and directory for a place near you. Check the listing for a public contact route and beginner training information.
3. Reach out and attend a first session
Ask when beginners can visit, what to wear, and whether the club has loaner equipment. Tell the coach about any injury or limitation before taking part.
4. Ask for equipment advice
Speak with the coach and experienced club members before buying armor. Confirm fit, event rules, and what you can borrow while learning.
